USEFUL TRAVEL INFORMATION
The coastal road linking the towns along the Amalfi coast, the Strada Statale 163, was commissioned by King Ferdinand II of Naples, completed in 1852, and is nicknamed the 'road of 1,000 bends'.
While the views are heavenly, the road is narrow and parking is limited along the coast. We recommend booking a transfer from the airport and travelling by water along the coast via the frequent and convenient ferries.
